How We Use SMS

Our Text Messaging Program, in Plain Language

What MCPCIO does, exactly which text messages we send, how you opt in, and what information we collect. Providing a phone number is always optional.

Who we are

MCPCIO is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides private, specialized AI tools for businesses, professionals, and individuals. Customers use MCPCIO to run AI-powered research, analysis, content generation, and workflow tasks — without their data being used to train external AI models.

Industry: Technology — Software as a Service (SaaS) / Artificial Intelligence. Company: MCPCIO is a doing-business-as (DBA) name of Effinsoftware.com INC, 2232 Dell Range Blvd, Suite 245-3069, Cheyenne, WY 82801, USA. Learn more About MCPCIO.

Text messaging is optional. You do not need to provide a phone number or agree to SMS to use any MCPCIO service. We do not collect a phone number anywhere on our website or during signup. A phone number is only ever collected after you have created an account and then chosen to add and verify one from your account settings page.

What messages we send

If — and only if — you opt in, MCPCIO may send you the following types of text messages at the number you verify:

  • Account and service alerts — important notices about your account and the services you use.
  • Phone-verification codes — the one-time code that confirms you own the number during opt-in.
  • Booking confirmations — confirmations for appointments or bookings you make through MCPCIO.
  • Customer-support replies — responses to support requests you initiate.
  • Marketing messages — product updates and offers, sent only if you separately opt into marketing communications.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the preferences you set. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, or HELP for help.

How opt-in works (verified double opt-in)

  1. You create an MCPCIO account (no phone number required or requested).
  2. On your account settings page, you optionally enter a mobile phone number.
  3. MCPCIO sends a one-time verification code to that number via SMS.
  4. You enter the code to confirm you own the number.
  5. Only after verification can you check the SMS and/or phone-call consent boxes. They are unchecked by default.
  6. You can uncheck consent or remove your number at any time — removal is immediate and permanent.

What we collect and how we use it

We practice minimal data collection:

  • Account record: your email address and name, your selected plan and consent choices, and account-management details. That is what identifies your account.
  • Phone number: stored in your account record only after you voluntarily add and verify one. Used solely for the communications you explicitly consented to.
  • No cookies, no third-party tracking, no behavioral profiling.
  • No per-user query logging. We do not keep logs of your queries; operational metrics are aggregate and non-identifying.
  • IP address: read only transiently for security and anti-abuse (when you verify your email at signup, and when you submit the contact form). It is not stored in your account record and is not used to track you.

We never sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS consent, or opt-in data with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. For full details see our Privacy Policy and SMS/Text Messaging Terms.

Opt-out & help

  • Opt-out: reply STOP at any time, or uncheck the SMS box / remove your number on your account settings page.
  • Help: reply HELP, or email robert@mcpcio.com.
